Is this called growing old?!
My 7yr old cousin walks up to me and tells me all about Diwali, all excited about the vacation, the fireworks, the noise, the sweets and what not! He drags me outta my house onto the road and wanted me to be a part of the ‘bursting - crackers’ session and was very adamant cause this is my first diwali with him as I was away from home for close to 7 yrs now!
On the way, I tell him all about crackers and how they cause a lota ‘Pollution’ and how we as educated people need to understand such stuff and save our environment! The poor kid dint even know to spell Pollution, well I taught him that too! :) Dont know if I ruined all the Diwali fun for him, but I was surprised when he went and told his elder sister all about ‘Procesion ‘( tats how he spelled pollution when I asked him to! ) and how they need to cut down on the number of crackers they are gonna burst this Diwali!
Donno if I changed the outlook of the kid or donno if he thinks I am just another adult throwing advice at every random thing a lil kid does!
Donno if I am growing old , but the planet definitely is!
